Javelin FlexOffice is a highly configurable workspace reservation system, integrating employee data with space and floor plan data in a simple web-based user interface.
The application is comprised of two distinct but complimentary modules which support user space reservation management and administrative functions.
User Module
The user module lets users easily create and manage workspace and conference room reservations from the internet using any standard Web browser. Users can configure Javelin FlexOffice by setting preferences for reservation start and end times, space type, and more.
Reserve
- Select from a list or floor plan of available workspaces that meet selected criteria, or reserve first available
- Manage reservations from one screen
- Automatic email confirmation reminders and reservation change notifications
- Create and modify reservations for others

Locate & View
- View all workspace reservations on one screen
- Quickly find workspace reservations for groups or individuals
- View a floor plan of all space types in a building
- Display your workspace reservation history

Set Preferences
- Establish default values for reservation searches
- Set default preferred seats
- Create and manage custom-defined groups of people to facilitate reservation searches

Administration Module
The administration module allows planners to manage reservation rules, buildings and spaces, and set user and administrator access.
- Assign Administration Module access control to key personnel
- Assign specific reservation rules to buildings by user type
- Assign a group of workspaces (i.e., studio) to a department
- Manage building and space availability to accommodate special situations
- Post important notices on user login page
- Associate time zones with buildings

Portfolio Management and Utilization Tracking
Javelin FlexOffice promotes efficient and effective real estate portfolio management by tracking facility utilization by location or region, providing real-time and historical information.
Data gathered from both the user and administration modules feeds into the utilization reports. This utilization data is a key enabler in making optimal choices for portfolio-level planning, facility consolidations, and daily facility management by matching a variety of space types to any current situation.
